Two papers from the Computational Nanoelectronics group accepted at SC25!

Two new works co-authored by the Computational Nanoelectronics group over the past year have been accepted for presentation at the International Conference on High Performance Computing, Networking, Storage, and Analysis (SC25)! The conference accepted 136 papers overall, resulting in an acceptance rate of 21.2%.
Spin-Charge Qubits in Bilayer Graphene–WSe₂ van der Waals Heterostructures

In a paper published in npj 2D Materials and Applications, we unveil a qubit platform built from bilayer graphene and WSe₂, showcasing strong spin–orbit coupling and gate operations on the picosecond timescale.
Papers at IWCN 2025

At IWCN 2025 in Salt Lake City, Mauro Dossena and Anders Winka presented research on mobility in 2D semiconductors and hot-carrier effects in silicon nanowire transistors.
Leo defends his PhD!

Congratulations to Leonard Deuschle for defending his PhD work, titled "Electron-Electron Interactions in Device Simulation via Non-equilibrium Green’s Functions and the GW Approximation". Have fun at NVIDIA Leo!
Paper accepted at DRC 2025!

Our work simulating failure mechanisms in ultrascaled resistive memory crossbar arrays has been accepted as an oral presentation at the Device Research Conference (DRC), where it has been nominated for Best Student Presentation!
